The Ascot Homeowners Association (AHOA or HOA) exists to unify property owners and residents in maintaining a dignified neighborhood. The HOA is governed by resident volunteers elected to Board positions.
The primary roles of the HOA Board are to collect HOA dues from property owners, manage these funds to maintain the subdivision, and communicate information to all residents.
Board Members:
- President: Wayne Dryden
- Vice President: Joe Campbell
- Treasurer: Chris Nicosia
- Secretary: Melissa Smith
- Member at Large: Pat Guerin
- Member at Large: Marva Williams
The Architectural Control Committee exists to protect the interests of all property owners relative to residents undertaking property modifications which can impact home values and Ascot community living standards. The ACC is bound by the restrictions of the neighborhood which can be found in the documents section.
Contact the ACC BEFORE contracting or beginning do-it-yourself projects including fences, home additions, detached structures (storage sheds or garages), enclosures, and similar physical changes. Maintenance items that simply repair or replace what was already existing with the same astetic does not need approval.
It is strongly suggested that you contact the ACC before doing any work to confirm you will not have any HOA issues. The ACC cannot provide information on City or Parish building codes.
ACC Members:
- Lois Cook (Committee Chairperson)
- Lenee Hicks
Neighborhood Watch Commander: Mike Anderson
Please report any incidents to Mike.
An Incident Report Form can be found on the Documents page.
Ascot subdivision has a book club. Members get together once per month during the day to discuss the current book and socialize. It's a great way to connect with neighbors and read some great books! If you're interested in joining, using the Contact Form.
Yards in the neighborhood are judged by the committee each month. A yard is not eligible to win again within 12 months of previously receiving the award. A sign is placed in the yard of the winner. If anyone is interested in joining this group, please contact Lois Cook (organizer) using the Contact Form.
The Welcome Committee meets new residents and provides information about our great neighborhood to new homeowners. If you're interested in participating, use the Contact Form.
